
The reason this happens is because, as homo sapiens, we have evolved to be very good at distinguishing faces. We can’t easily accept a face that doesn’t fit our expectations, our brain will try to correct it, to make it match what we consider a human should look like.

Did you take a look at the image on the left? Is it also blurry and uncomfortable for you? It’s truly fascinating how glitchy we can be as well. For example, we are used to seeing others’ faces (although I work from home and the majority my twitter friends are bots ).
